When you boot up your server which is using PERC 6 RAID cocntroller, you may see below error message:
“Number of devices exceeded maximum limit of devices per quad
Please remove the extra drives and reboot system to avoid losing data
System has halted due to unsupported configuration.”
Symptom:
PERC 6 RAID controller with firmware version 6.3.1-0003.
